im going to be in vail for 2 days on the 10th and 11th of january, is their park pretty decent around this time?

anyone want to ski with me :)?
 
It's good, but don't waste your time in there. Enjoy the snow we are getting right now, you are coming at the perfect time to enjoy knee-waist deep for a few days.
 
im coming to ski park for 2 days. i can ski powder and big mountain whenever i want to at home (i live in alaska) so i want a few good park days
 
Dude, you are right around the corner from Breck and the Stone. Do yourself a favor and go get some.
 
Vail's park is supposed to open on Jan 9 and its usually pretty fun not like keystone or breck though. Beaver Creek is only like 15 minutes away and they have a pretty sick park
 
sick i'm goign to be out there from jan 13-21 i'm hoping for some good pow days, and some good park days.
 
sick, seems like theres quite a few NSers at vail? I'm hoping for some sick pow days, since there are basically none where I live.
 
Vail can eat my dick. $25/day for parking.

Anyway, you can go ride Breck and Keystone, while your parents ski Vail using the Summit Stage bus system, which is FREE! They have a website too. I think it is www.summitstage.com but I could be wrong.

Look it up and hitch a ride to other resorts with world-class parks worth sitting your ass on a bus for an extra hour or two of your 2-day otherwise, lame ski trip.
 
You are very welcome! Have fun and enjoy the feet upon feet of snow! Over 200" on the season in the Southwest mountains of Colorado and 185" at Beaver Creek since the season started!

 
hey man i'm not the best park skiier and i'm looking for some tips. i'de be happy to help film for you a bit if you would give me some tips and such. I'l be there jan 13 - 21 i'l be skiing 14-20. obviously pow days i won't be in the park, but any other day i'm gonna chilling there.
 
im going to be out the 16th through 20th ill b down im staying at breck but skiing other places
 
free parking at vail idiot u just have to know where to park. go fuck your self for being an idiot

and summit stage does not go to breck/summit i think u will need to take the ECO Transit and its free if you are under 18
 
Ok, so you call someone an idiot for something that is pretty hard to find (only 70 free spots in Vail) and something that Vail doesn't ever advertise. Then you go and state that ECO might take you to scummit co (which it doesn't). Who is the fucking idiot and what drugs do you take?

Anyways getting from Vail to Scummit is pretty hard unless you have a car. Yes the Stone and Breck have amazing parks but Vail got over 3 feet in the last few days! Why not stay in Vail and ski some sick shit? Ski some powder pillows and huck some cliffs... if you are going to pay around $90 a day to ski then you might as well ski some fun stuff.
 
Im gonna be in vail from friday to monday and do not feel like bringing my skis on the plane from NYC. Are there any good shops in or near vail that demo fat skis. I know its gonna be sunny the whole time Im there but, I dont think your allowed to hit rails with demo skis... so Im just gonna try and ski around the mountain on some ski that is 110+ underfoot and have fun.
 
ill be up one day. I dont really know anywhere to rent skis id say just bring them or ship ups. For hitting rails i never heard that.
 
Buzz/s boards would be your best bet. Also Joels under Los Amigos rents fat skis. Gorsuch also rents fat skis but they will be pretty expensive.
