Vail tips

Going to be going to vail for 3 days of skiing this thrus, fri, and sat. I have only skiied there once, and it was only for one day so I don't know the terrain that well. That being said....Vail is massive.

Any info on good areas I must hit, where to go first, and where to get some deep pow lines.....any help is much appreciated?
 
Avy danger is very high right now even in side of the resort. Dont duck ropes and use cation. Being said, check out blue sky baisn. I know not all of it is open but its for sure fun on a pow day. The woods under the northwoods express can be fun
 
Last year in vail, blue sky is was cool...it just seems like it takes forever to get over there....

Not sure how much pow will be there on thrus....
