Yo ik we all hate Vail, all my homies hate Vail Resorts etc etc but they been doing a good job lately at my local. Last year they fucked up and there was no park for like two months but this year they had features up in November like 2 weeks into the season. Turns out a new park is going to be built in addition to the main one which is a pretty big initiative when a lot of parks are being closed down. We actually got the first rail jam in like 3 years going down tomorrow. Just was appreciating the comeback and thought Vail been pretty good lately.

It’s unpopular but yea, I’m a part time shop manager for them and they let us give refunds, discounts, etc or whatever to help people out or just make someone’s day. 0 push back from corporate. I literally give entire families free rentals for a day or two if they are nice. Any pushback from corporate can be answered with “they were upset about x y or z and wanted compensation”.
