Vail Resorts is All About the Environment

Here at Vail Resorts, we thrive ourselves on our determination to protect the environment. Unfortunately, a road we built in Keystones Bergman Bowl back during the summer that was supposed to be for animals to travel on without killing the tundra was shot down by the US Forest Service and in turn, our environmental plans for the area meant we had to delay the construction of a new Express lift only built to clog ski runs and let everyone know of some peoples favorite backcountry spot with impeccable grooming to increase the reach our skiers have on this magical land. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you buy an EPIC Pass before they're no longer being sold. Lift Lines aren't a problem, they're just masses of people experiencing the same sport we all hold dear to one another.

Hey rob! Love your work, huge fan. I'm looking to take my family out west this winter and we're fairly competent skiers (mostly blue square runs, some black diamonds if we're feeling a little crazy! Haha). But we would like to try out this "Backcountry Skiing" stuff. What would you recommend?
 
I also was told that Vail Resorts invented faceted weak layers in 1966 to increase the costs of insurance and also in turn raise pass prices and the cost of skiing? Surely that can't be true. I'm a dentist and and those pass prices surely are hard on my budget, I don't want it to cut into my golf and 2nd home budgets either. Thanks!
