Vail Powder Spots

Hey Newschoolers,

It looks like there is pow on the forceast for the Denver area next week. I am an east coast skier but will be out in Vail during that time. Anyone know the spots in Vail (F*ck vail). If you do DM me and let me know. Also if you will be out there at the same time maybe we can link.

If your priority is powder then hit up vail pass. you have to earn hike or skin but there’s some pretty endless powder up there. Be careful for avalanches though
 
a lot of the back bowls area is kinda flat but there are some really fun spots and it's just a cool place to be. i havent been in forever but the farthest back parts of the back bowls area is super fun and had fresh snow to find on a decently busy day ime so i'd say explore back there

hollywood cliffs are fun too. haven't been there much but it's a very fun mtn, enjoy
 
The bowls in the morning. Steepest faces i can think of for good turns is either genghis or rasputins. Genghis is a nice hollywood cornice on the top to send it off of. Next would be lovers leap if the lines arent bad into bluesky. If they are, just take teacup up and do another ghengis lap. Next would be northwoods. Hit up prima cornice. If you have equipment and beacons, best untouched is going all the way around on earls side of blue sky to a slight clearing and its nice down there.
