Hood Meadows has outgrown its capacity. Get there by 9 or expect to be diverted 40 minutes away to Hood River, to take a shuttle back up the road you just drove down. Come save us, Vail!

At least there would probably be a garage to deal with limited space if that's the problem? My home mountain is Alterra and the "premium" parking costs money but the regular lot is free and only like 500' further if you get a decent spot. Some of the lifts are actually closer to the free lot but not the base area.

I could actually see at hood doing something like, public free parking sunrise; private paid parking in main lot and HRM.
