Vail pass?

I wouldn't go up until late December at the earliest. I've done earlier, and ended up getting some rough core shots.

i skiied berthoud in early november last year and was fine. There are certain areas at berthoud that you can get core shots any time of year. Core shots are a part of life.

If you want to actually ski vail pass and not just sess a booter. you need to invest in a snowmobile or get ready for a long ass hike.

 
Berthoud in early november is chill...just make sure u go on the main runs! there often is a jump built up top...straight up from the parking where the trees start
