Mammoth for Park, steeze, california, sunny weather, cheap food, easy living.

Vail for back bowls, long bump runs, not very steep, good trees, old women in $5000 fits, true baller steeze. (Fuck 50 Cent, people here in Vail have real money). and if you are 21, Vail has a few night spots.

You can't really compare Vail and Mammoth. They are kind on opposite ends of the spectrum.

Mammoth was my main mountain for 17 years and know i live in CO and have ridden at Vail a bunch of times including the back bowls.

The back bowls kick ass and are lots of fun but nowhere in summit county is close to as steep as Mammoth or tahoe area and Mammoth has sweet hits is always sunny has more snow better steeps and a park chair that runs the length of the park and is a high speed quad the only thing Vail has over Mammoth is lighter snow but no question Mammoth is the SHIT!

 
go to mammoth. its awesome riding even outside of the park, but the parks on mammoth are just sick, and june mountain is nearby!

 
I've heard vail is amazing. I'd love to ski in Colorado some day...

ski rossi, fuck you, i worked my ass of months to save money up to come out to mammoth, i worked at a shitty job under a bitch of a boss to get to ride 3 days a week, 4 if im lucky. believe me all the employees here at mammoth put in their time and put up with a lot of shit to be able to ride here.

Vails BC is incredible, probably much better than mammoths. It is dangerous though, CO doesnt have the most stable snowpack.

Bobdole come on now you dont put up with that much shit. All my friends work at alta probably doing the same thing as you. What do you expect for working at a ski resort? If you want to put up with less shit maybe try going to college and getting an education....you still live at mammoth, you dont have that hard of a life man.

 
im not complaining at all man, the skiing is for sure worth it out here, but just telling that dude that not everybody out here are rich, a lot of these people live from 50 dollar paycheck to 50 dollar paycheck, they just put in effort to be able to do this kind of thing
