Vacation planning in Austria

Right now there's a good chance I'll be in Austria the last week of February. I'm trying to find a good resort/area to visit that I can get to by train with a decent amount of lodging options. A few places I'm looking at are:

Arlberg, Austria

Innsbruck, Austria

Ischgl, Austria

Kitzbuhel, Austria

Söll, Austria

St Anton, Austria

Somewhere else, Switzerland

I'm looking for intermediate/advanced terrain, don't really need park skiing on this visit. Wanting to do this relatively cheap, let me know if you have any good suggestions. I'm also considering Switzerland as well so tell me why Austria is better.

Also I've heard that some places charge extra for optional insurance when you buy your lift ticket? Otherwise ski patrol won't help you? Sounded weird to me any additional info would be great

Never heard about extra costs for optional insurance. I'm pretty sure ski patrol will always help you; of course it's possible that you may be charged afterwards, should said insurance be required. Where I ski in Austria, extra insurance has never been offered at a price.

Seems like you got a lot of hits in regionals? lol
