ik theres a thread for liek everysingle college on this page but im goin here next year and will be skiing alpine.
let me know if you're going or if oyu already attend there and what you think of it
 
i lived like 20 mins from there. i really dont know of any skiers that go there. so you might be the only one. there is alot of urban around there, but if you get cought youll get in big trouble.
 
U DUB DUB holla! I'll be livin at 420 franklin street next year. There are also a few other skiers that go there. I don't know if you want to ski alpine... it isn't all that great and the pass is like $400, but if you have a car and the money that is your closest option. I just go home on the weekends and shred Tyrol/Cascade since they are both 30-40 minutes from my house, cheaper season pass, and a better park.
 
well seeing as how monster and 686 and some other companies are sponsering alpines park this year. expect better things. they also got the ok from the GM for chris the groomer to do more things in the park. bigger jumps. more rails. and this sounds wierd but chris went to disney world this summer and came back like a little kid, and wants to do alot of crazy stuff this year.
 
yea ive been riding alpine for a couple of years now and i now how shitty it can be, everything gets rutted out every little fuck has to ride through the terrain park even though theres the rest of the motain and everyting is ice by twelve, but i didnt know that about 686 and monster
also do you know anything about the ski/snowboard club there?
 
Not really. I was going to join it last year, but I couldn't find any information on it. I saw some pictures of past trips in the Williams center though... that's it.
 
dood the website doesnt have anything on it lol, i was thinking about joining with one of my friends but theres nothing on it so i cnt.
 
JEA!!!! U Dub Dub, might be going up there this weekend to watch them kick ass in football again saw their game last weekend and they were destroyin the other team....might be playin football for em next year which would be sweet....^BcL how do you like it at whitewater so far? what dorm do you stay in because I have been told that if i go there I should stay in Wells, is that true?
 
I might be going to Whitewater next year, too. Or I can continue to be lazy and go to MATC for 1-2 years and transfer there :l
 
UWW has been pretty dope. Not a whole lot going on since Whitewater is a small town, but there are usually parties going on and chill people to hang with. I was in Wells West 10th floor last year. Wells is fun. Lots of people in that area and you have prairie street and esker real close by for food.
 
yea it seems legit there, I live only like 20 min away from Whitewater so I can make quick trips home if i need some food or laundry.....So pumped for college its unbelievable, I wanna major in business so i definitely have come to the right place for that.....Where exactly do you keep your car if you drive home on weekends and such, I take it you just park at the dorms and do they charge you for that?
 
No car. I just got rides home with friends who had a car. I think it's like $180 a year for a parking pass, not sure exactly though.
 
I'm really debating about applying or not. I want to go to UWW, that's for sure. But I don't know if I cant to go to MATC for 1-2 years, get my generals done, and just transfer over. It'd be easier, cheaper, and I'd have the same outcome. But I feel like I'd be missing out on some vital fun for those years missed at UWW.
 
Trust me.... go to whitewater over tech school. It may cost a bit more, but living in the dorms is pretty fun, you meet so many people that way instead of just in classes. getting away from home is good too and living by yourself. Seriously man.. UWW from the start, you'll regret it if you don't.

all my friends i met at uww that trans from matc wished they just started at uww, and it really isn't that much more expensive (at least it wasn't when i was there as a frosh in '02)

man i miss ww, i had so much fun there.

does salvo still own the coyote grill?
