I just made the same move...well Burlington to Golden and I already miss Burlington and everyone at UVM. I just need snow to forget about it.
 
I dont want to be that guy, but..... i just started my UVM career and am currently residing in J Mance...... Im so excited this school has already proven to be the best in the first weekend alone

I was just up in Burlington for a wedding this weekend, really cool area. My cousin, the groom, is actually a professor at UVM too. Something along the lines of engineering I believe.

That being said, I'm feeling extremely down hearing about all of my friends and teammates heading back to school. First time in 4 years not going back, but hopefully I'll get down a few times to visit.
 
burlington's hella fun for school. unless you're from there like me and had to get the hell out because there are no jobs once you finish school. i still have a fun time whenever i make it up to visit though

im applying to schools soon, so to those who go there how is it? and how much skiing can you do and whats the closest mountain?
 
closest is bolton, at about 25 or 30, most peopl do sugarbush or stowe which are 50min. you can ski as much as you want to. i did 4 or 5 days a week last year.
 
Pete, phils right, you do suck at walking I made it down and back form 6 pine to your place in under 15 when i was tracking the bong down.
