Should the UTE Park terrain park be returned? Should the cardboard derby be returned? What do you think of www.revelationbowl.com? I wish I had more to say than I have been here for less than a year and I do not advocate the loss of the cardboard derby.
 
screw the ute park. i think they should combine ALL the parks into one SICK ASS park. and the revalation bowl is soooooo sweet. im way stoked on that. im gonna have to get up there more this year because of that.
 
i have no idea what the ute park is but i do know that ill be skiing telluride next year since ill be living in durango. i cant wait
 
the ute park sucks. i never went there once all year. but i do think it should stay because it keeps a fair amount of the gapers out of the big park. and i am stoked for the new bowl. its gonna be badass.
 
Haha! its hilarious, why would you want the ute park back? the boxes and tables were no longer than 5 ft. sure its fun to mess around in, but it was not worth it. the intermediate park next to the halfpipe is kinda the same size. I guess to each his own, i ride Hoot's Hood.
 
yeah and then there will be a bunch of gapers around the park. do you want this. no. keep the ute park because no gapers are going to be hitting 20 - 40 foot jumps safely.
 
im guessing ute is gone for good. word on the block is the ceo just cut a bunch of management to "save cash." I doubt he is going to pay to have the park crew split among the mountain + it would mean more/harder work for the snow cars = more cash. while it will be sick having the revelation bowl and not having to earn your turns to get into the backcountry, the ill effects of being "unmatched in north america" are already taking a toll on the people who gave telluride its reputation.
 
Just to throw my two cents in, I really doubt Ute is coming back. I was talking to the park crew and they all threw their weight behind combining the parks, they hated having to ride all the way up 10 to groom the mini-park.

That's so sick they're putting in Revelation though. Wowwwwwwww. I was talking to a contractor on the gondola last season and even he didn't think it would be done any time soon.
