Using Motion for Slow-mo's

I know a lot of people use twixtor but they also are hated on for using it.. thats besides the point though.. i have Motion for my macbook pro and i was wondering if anyone had any experience using optical flow to make smooth slow-mo's?

Because they use it incorrectly most of the time.

yea i've used optical flow quite a bit. it does an ok job, but it's no twixtor in my experience

no one hates on a proper use of twixtor. however edits with excessive amounts of the 1k fps conformed to 24 fps look dumb.
