Using fake ID at colorado dispensaries?

I heard the same shit honestly and that's what kept me from getting a fake ID. So this is all BS?

While what I said is true, I have realized it doesn't really make a difference. If you use an ID that isn't yours or is fake to purchase alcohol (in NYS, idk about other places) you can't get in trouble for identity theft. So either way it doesn't matter.

I frequently go to a (I think big) dispensary. I don't recall them using a scanner but I could be wrong. They check you to get in the door and then at the register he almost forgot to check it at the register but it was end of the nigth.

I imagine if they catch on they will take your ID so it's up to you to decide if it's worth it. Why not ask some homelss dude or somethin
 
haven't read the thread but I live in colorado and before turning 21 used a fake for about 6 months after moving here. i'd say as long as it scans and looks presentable you'll be fine. admittedly mine was pretty cheap feeling when you bent it which sketched me out at first but it never failed. i've been to high end dispensaries downtown where 2 people check your id twice as well as smaller shops in the hood. one time this place was super busy and i walked through without anyone ever checking it. if you can buy liquor with it you can buy your weed.

some dispensaries have armed security when you walk in but most do not so my piece of advice would be watch for that and send it yo.

as to you guys who know about this “is it really possible to make a fake that will scan? I thought those scanners like had to like check out with some database.

I'd recommend just asking someone of the legal age doing it for you, say you wanna buy 10 bucks worth of weed, hand the person a twenty, tell them "if you go in and buy you $10 of weed they can keep the change. Best case scenario you get weed and don't get caught worst case is he steals your money... I guess.
