USA first time

Hey guys me, my brother and my dad are going to Utah for the first time we will be flying from Australia probably on boxing day and will be based in Salt Lake any tips or advice on where to go or where to stay, which resorts are best?

Head to Snowbird/Alta with the rest of the unwashed hoards at the ass crack of dawn if its a powder day (10"+). Try and make it on one of the first trams and just follow the people who look like they know what they're doing.
Ride the storm in the trees in LCC
After the storm bat clean up at solitude.
Maybe head up north if you've got a rental car.
Give park shitty a pass over unless the whole state's an ice rink in which case go make use of park shitty's ironically not at all shitty park.

If your on a budget then look at Extended Stay America. 2 double beds for $50 - self contained unit.

Ski mainly alta and the bird but check solitude and snowbasin and pow mow if you have time. Pow Mow the days after a storm is epic.

The bird and Alta for sure... Like he said before your gunna wanna get up early like 6am and get going especially if theres snow. Try looking for somewhere in Sandy, which is close to the 201 the highway that takes you up little cottonwood canyon to Alta and Snowbird. And make sure you search bar to find the easiest way to get to chads gap from the bottom of Alta.

OMG LETS ALL SAY POW RESORTS EVER THOUGH SOMEONE ALREADY SAID THEM SO WE CAN SOUND LIKE WE SKI REAL MOUNTAINS WITH REAL SNOW. But really, aside from the places that have already been said, I've heard that Park City and The Canyons have top notch parks, I'd be sure to check them out if you like skiing park. Oh yeah and Chad's Gap.

kay you defiantly want to go to alta and snowbird but the thing with those two resorts is that it gets tracked out way fast. but the snow and terrian is amazing same with the cliffs and what not. i ski at brighton and i love it on pow days the out of bounds is incredible and the park is ok but tons of fun. solitude is good but its more of an old person resort, like it has way good terrain and way good snow but most the people skiing there are old. park city is only good for park. and deer valley sucks its way to overpriced and i juss dont recomend it. the canyons is amazing for park and juss cruising around. ive gone to snowbasin on a 34" pow day and wow i was impressed i recomend that. no one is up there its steep and the snow is way good.

and for places to stay the cliff lodge at snowbird is your best bet if you want to stay at a resort. but if you and your dad wanna stay somewhere for free you could probly stay at my house. i have a empty downstairs and you could stay there i juss need to know how long you would want to.
one more thing is me and my dad both work at brighton so we can show you around and get you guys some free passes.
