take the population in account and canada defintly wins. are talent pool is alot higher.. ie. 1:10 can rip, america 1:30...

We Canadians invented the sport, and we still kick americans' ass at it.

Canada Pro: Crichton, Belanger, Turpin, Cusson, Iannick, Abma and the list goes on

Canada Amateur: TJ, Vanular, Gagnier, Houle, etc etc etc

American Pro: Tanner, Olenick, CR, Pep, Pollard, Dumont

American Amateur: Philippi, Davison, Solberg...

If you talk about pros, the game is pretty tied, but canadian amateurs are really really better than the americans' one. Canada holds the future of skiing, US don't, so here's where it ends.
