so i know spinks is goin to compete in the us open (he told me that, im not sure if he still is planning on it) but i was wondeirng if any of the roots team was goin to compete this year in the open?

I would but theres a local competition those same dates that I can do well like win or get 2nd or 3rd so i think it would be better to do that then place towards the back at the open...

 
also i dont have the cash to make it out to vail.... im pretty broke.... and I already planned out my trips for the year...

 
All you need to do is get here and have a way to get home. We have pleanty of places to stay right by the mountain.

US Open is one of the best events of the year. The entire skiing industry decends on Vail for the week. The riding is crazy, the parties are insane, the girls are hot, and every person that thinks they are good at slopestyle/bigair/pipe (i heard no more skierX) will be here.

If you are here, I can gaurentee you will meet most of the Oakley team, Tanner and the rest of the C-Crew. Since Mikeal won the last two years, we have been partying at the Dynastar condo with the riders after Big Air.

You should all try to compete, even if you dont make it to finals, competing in US Open is one of the best experiances you will have in your life.

yea i think im actually in park city during that time... but next year ill deffenilty make it out there. im planning on being in it next year!

well i for one will most defanitely be competing....me and some of the other anon athletes are goin out there through the company so im def. stoked.....if you guys can get there you should def do it....it will be an awsome experience

I think that anyone that wants to go somewhere with skiing, therefore a sponsored athlete, should make it to that kind of comp. Its the open, as it says, its open to everyone, to make yourself a name and get some visibility among the big names out there...

are any of the other pro team riders gonna compete?....and spinks...are you gonna be shooting with anthony after the week of the open.....he wants me to stay out there and shoot with some other peeps....and i think he mentioned you were one of em

I'll be shooting all year long. I cant say where i'll be shooting after the open. I would love to shoot with anthony a lot this year, he knows what he is doing for sure.

Charlie Macarthur and David Bird are most likely competing as well.
