US Open Costs

im preregistered and this was in the email i got

Each athlete’s registration includes a $175 non-refundable entry fee, $75 for slope and $50 for superpipe.

· Slopestyle only =$250 (includes four day lift ticket)

· Superpipe only =$225 (includes three day lift ticket)

· Slope & pipe =$300 (includes six day lift ticket)

I'm soooo pissed. That's real shitty. I thought it was only gonna be like 150 or so. This is making me re-consider.

Lift tickets are like what $72 a day usually regular season?

So if you went for six days and paid full ticket price just to ski it would be about $430.

So $300 including 6 days skiing entry fee and event is cheap. Your getting your lift passes for free.

Yeah.... But I figured it'd be close to the VTOpen costs. VTopen is $100 for one even. That is also valid as lift tickets for 5 days. When I was there i think a lift ticket was around $78. I didn't expect the USOpen to be almost triple. I'll still go.... i'll just hate registering even more now.

yeah but i doubt u get to ski the entire mountain, probably just the slope course lift...

and tons of people that are sponsored won't be able to get there sponsors to pay for it... (if a certain group of individuals are reading: wanna drop 250 for me?)

^lol. not

last year you could ride the whole mountain with the tickets...but that was at Vail, idk if they changed it since its at copper this year

It's at Copper this year. Not Vail, you are quoting Vail ticket prices. And entire season pass at Copper is currently 319...and if you purchased earlier in the year it was even cheaper.

I ain't quoting shit, that was a guess.

the CO mountain pass is like 325 for 3 hills, plus a week at vail and beaver creek and copper or some shit like that...even better deal.

and im pretty sure a full day pass regular season is in the $70's at copper too.

ethier way $300 for all events entry fee and lift tickets isn't that expensive, in the grand scheme of things.

Oh ya and Johan!! Go!

does having a pass for copper make it cheeper since they don't need to give you a lift pass as well as an enterence fee?
