The quota is the same for Freestyle and Alpine. This is how it works:
For Slopestyle and Halfpipe there are 30 Olympic spots for men and 24 for women per event shared between all qualified nations.
Each country then has 26 individual representatives shared between Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Ski Cross, Aerials and Moguls; including no more than 14 athletes per gender and 4 athletes per gender per event.
The allocation of quota places per nation "will be made by assigning one quota place per competitor from the top of the Olympic Quota Allocation List downwards until the maximum total per event in Ski Halfpipe and Ski Slopestyle per gender is reached. Once a NOC has achieved the maximum number of four places its remaining competitors will no longer be counted and the next eligible NOC on the Olympic Quota Allocation List will be allocated a place. As the US has a strong team, they should get max allocations of 4 places per event.
