US ARMY

well atleast ill do something with my life navy seals is really hard basic traning so my other choise is navy i wont have to fight and ill get 4 years of schooling

Everyone's negative but I guess the US got themselves in this shit and they need willing people like you to back them up. If no one did it then who knows what everything would be like.

yeah I'm pretty sure "hell week" or whatever is really intense. I think you have to be able to run like 15 miles a day with a 40 lbs pack on and like hold your breath for like 2 mins underwater. You have to be fucked up.

im prity sure the seals are really selective i dont think you can show up to a recrutment office and be like hey i want to be a nay seal

its so weird when you read shit while you hear it said on music or tv, right as i read this thread title there was an army commercial on and it said US ARMY right as i read it.

its not for me but da,m i give those guys a lot of respect, dieing so i ca n sit on my ass and do nothing

but the thing is its not like snowboardsing. you cant join the army, and decide you dont like basic and quit. you have tyo fulfill a time length.

ha. i know a kid that has tried a shit load of times and keeps failing. its really hard. but you could be the water boy for the troops dude.

i have a buddy that went and he didn't die....so, don't look at it like that, but there is always that risk man. plus my buddy had to walk up to some distrubing stuff. too bad. i don't think i could do it, props if you wanna man. but don't try to hold onto your girlfrend when you leave.

anyway....good luck bro. at least you'll get to see the world. its more than some of us get to do.

pay you get posted in germany. that's where my buddy went after his iraq service and he said it was the shit.

i don't think you have to be in the navy to enter into the navy's buds program. you can be from different areas of the service.

i suggest you read books about the navy seals to familiarize yourself. i just finished reading a book about the navy seals in vietnam which was more or less their proving ground. some really wild stories in it from training to combat.

yeah we're all the lazy ass kids typing on forums about skiing....i wouldnt take anyone's opinion on a life changing topic seriously

i have a friend who is going through/went trhough buds. he said it was the most painful/demanding/joyful/amazing/hell/shitty/hell again expierence he has ever gone through

dude you gotta kiss ass in the army or they might get you with some friendly fire in combat if they dont like you. im not joking my dad was a marine

my brother is a seal...have fun my brother is so fucking intense all he does is run/swim/bike/lift weights that's fucking it so have fun with that

think about it and if its what YOU really want then go for it, i wouldnt cuz i'd be scared shitless that you would be mobilized to iraq or sumthing, i dont believe in the war though so i guess im pretty biased there, i just couldnt see myself risking my life in a war that we know nothing about b/c they wont tell us anything

theyre hiding to much ex. why the US is even there

shane there is no way youre gonna be in the seals!! hahaha you would go into the recruitment office and be like yo nig** whats good? hahahahaha no way. the navy is for gay guys so dont do that. i highly doubt you do it though you run when brandon punches you let alone getting fucking shot at. hahahha there is no way.

I'd go for it. Right now, the benefits are so high. My sister just went into the national guard and she's going to their language program next summer to learn russian. I'm probably going into the ROTC program at school this fall. They pay full tuition (if you qualify for their scholarship. And if not, then you can drop out) plus like 600 per month, with a time commitment of about 3 hours per week. Then I think you have to give 4 years or something after you graduate but it can be as an inactive reserve or something like that.

you should do it if you really want to. i'm joining the marines as soon as im off probation. i think its a wise choice to join the military.

he's intelligent he's an officer and shit, but his mental state is just so intense, it's like he's serious about everything and he's so driven, it's kinda fucking gay, but we don't see eye to eye on shit cause he's a fucking prick and i like drugs and have been arrested so i'm pretty much an embarrassment to him

u cant just "become a navy seal", u have to go through ALL the regular navy basic training, take special navy courses, THEN u can SIGN UP for the training. not as easy as u think.
