Wasn't expecting to see Perkins on the halfpipe team, I'm not too familiar with him.

Stoked to see Schlopy on the slope team though, the rest of the team is obvious, but good for him, he worked his ass of his year.
 
So stoked to see Schlopy and Battersby on the team. Both of them have been some of the nicest people I've met. Can't wait to watch them on the world's stage in a few years.

Crazy that Torin is on the half pipe team. Not because isn't qualified but because he's so young. Imagine if you were still in high and on your way to the Olympics. Crazy
 
None of you mention what you think about Grete beeing norwegian?

I knew, she did choose the US team for having better suport around the team, but still, if she wins anything i still concider it a Norwegian medal...
 
2 years ago half those names were just starting to make splashes on the comp scene, its tough to get hyped on a list that will change again in 2 years...
 
That the us should have named a pool of people not necessarily a team yet. Since I bet the team will change a lot

just like canada announced their 2013 national team the other day, the list of athletes is definitely going to change going into next year

Bobby is 4 years older than wallnutz???????? i always thought bobby was older and torin was born 95. thats unreal

 
This is not the olympic team, being on the U.S. team or Canadian team does not mean your going to the olympics. Any U.S. athlete can beat out these guys to make it to Sochi. I believe world cup points will start this summer, then the Grand Prix's will probably decide the U.S. team in 2013-2014.
