Urinary Tract Infection, Not a fun time

Over the last 2 weeks I've been hooking up with this girl I met at college. She's damn fine and I've been super excited but then this issue came up. At first I was having trouble finishing like for the life of me I just couldn't bust. Next my dick started going kinda numb and I was getting worried. Next I started having trouble even getting it up at all like I cant really feel my dick much. So I started getting stressed thinking damn man my dick is done, I'm a soft dick guy from here on out. Next my dick starts stinging all the time especially pissing or having sex (when I can get up at least). Pretty depressing. Turns out it's just a uti. I'm getting some antibiotics soon and fingers crossed things clear up.

Anyway moral of the story is rubber up and thank God for doctors. Anyone ever had something simular happen?

If you haven't probably a great time to get tested. What insurance in the US does and doesn't cover is pretty random but there are clinics even planned parenthood if you don't have insurance/isn't covered. Not a bad idea to get tested for things ince in a while anyway, but in this situation def a good idea.

Maybe if you have some kind of campus health thing ask them about it. They might offer free testing on site or some sort of free/discounted referral.

So turns out is not a uti, doc was pretty sure it would be but the results came back yesterday and it's negative. So I guess blood work is the next step, fingers crossed for that.

Damn you almost convinced me UTI’s are contagious. My girlfriend had one a month ago…

Update (idk if anybody really cares but hey maybe it will at least get a laugh or two)

So I went back to the hospital a few days ago and they tested me for the clap, still have not got the results back but they gave me the needle and meds to cure it. That was 2 days ago and so far I feel a little better. My dick doesn't burn or throb much at all anymore which is great. I haven't tried jerking it yet cuz I wanna let it heal properly. Last time I jerked it was great until I finally bust and it burned like hell (and felt good at the same time, weird combination). Anyways the burning seems to be better but it's still kinda numb and limp. Like it just doesn't get quite as hard as normal and not quite as sensitive, just feels kind of numb. Kind of a bummer, but whatever.
