Urban spots in Seattle WA

He's lying guys. All Seattle has is solid 7's....So don't come here unless you expect on being drunk the whole time.

thanks to everyone who was helpful. no thanks to people who told me to leave Washington. just to clear the air, it snows most winters in Seattle and it snows enough to hit some rails.

Dude, come on. How many people is it going to take for you simpletons to understand. IT'S LIKE WE LIVE IN A FUCKING CLOUD, ALL IT DOES IS PRECIPITATE. Damn dryfeet.

lolololololololol shittiest mountains on the face of the planet. Sure if you like skiing in the intercity live in the mw. If you like skiing mountains, west coast ftw.

haha if you don't live in seattle and are planning on traveling here to hit urban i can tell you the you are definately not gunna be here when and IF there is snow. The people telling you that it doesnt ever really snow in seattle arent lying at all.

theyre more midwest than places like michigan and ohio. ive always had a problem of how the us is broken down. like how can ohio be midwest when its significantly closer to NY than nebraska which is the middle of the state

Been following this thread for a bit and I wanted to throw my 2 cents in...

It's all bullshit.

I've lived in the seattle area for 25 years now and it snows at least once a year in downtown seattle, usually around december or early january. There are tons of urban rails everywhere - it's one of the most hilly cities in the states. Why else would there be neighborhoods like Capitol Hill? or Queen Anne Hill? Great in-runs, and some good landings too. There are sick wall-rides, ledges and rails EVERYWHERE.

Snow isn't a big issue, as long as you can get to the rail...people around here don't know how to drive in the snow and traffic gets backed up very quickly. One of those situations where it would be handy to have an urban touring ski for hitting rails. This is good though becuase law enforcement doesn't give a fuck about peole hitting stuff around town because they're more concerned with traffic accidents like busses sliding down hills uncontrollably ( this video is from around thanksgiving last year -
)The snow doesn't last more than two days in most spots, but you can still hunt in the shade for snow that hasn't melted to scrape something together if need be.

The only issue that comes to mind with urban in seattle is how overprotective all these local inner city skiers are. Many of whom have commented on this thread, are too stuck up, arrogant and selfish to realize the good that can be done by exposing the urban shred culture within seattle. There are TONS of goods to get around, and whats wrong with seshing together? With a larger crew of like minded people there is a ton more opportunity to actually make something happen in the short window that we are offered here, so that you can actually hit one of the many filthy features around the city instead of simply 'imagining' what it would be like to do so if it ever snowed in seattle...

So yeah. In closing, it snows a decent amount in seattle at least annually, and there is some gold around here. Lets share the wealth boys

I doubt you actually live here, since you never seem to check our regional forum. If you had, you might know what we are talking about.

For those of you who dont want to read that giant wall of text, it he basically just said seattle is bullshit and it always rains, terrible skiing~

I'm fining you $50 dollars, because you know what you said was nonsense. The next time it will be $100. Please make sure you check yourself into the regional forum to make sure you A. check you meter before responding to this and B. don't mess up ever again.

Also all of our mountains here charge $20 dollars for parking, so don't even think about gas money from people. It's not worth it, go to Utah

Oh yeah, guys, we don't get enough snow in our passes so we have charging stations for electric cars since all it does it rain up there.
