Upside-down Glidecam

Hey everyone, I'm just starting to dabble a bit in filming and content creation, but I'm just curious if anybody has had any luck with using a glide cam upside down? I cant seem to get a good grip on mine and it keeps having a jerky pan motion from the wind. So I'm looking for a solution to fixing that. Thanks!

I've done it a few times, flip the handle upside down too, I haven't had an issue with it really.

I do this very often, only filming rails though. If you glidecam is properly balanced, you can just flip it over and it should work great. Operate it just how you would the normal way, hell most of the time i hold the handle in my right hand and pinch the glidecam with the same hand, like this:

Thanks, Have you had any experience with high speeds /jumps with this? Also would taking off my lens hood reduce unplanned panning?

If you're going to hit jumps with your glidecam, just hold it normally. I've done some like high speed drop in shots with the glidecam upside down and it looks good. But because of the limited tilt, its not great for jumps or anything higher than like 10ft... I find myself bringing the rig up to shoulder height on some features.
