I have a set of anthems with some rossi bindings on them. I want to keep the bindings but have never unmounted a set of skis.

How is it done? Please help!

^what he said.
and if it's the old axial binding, you'll need to screw the heelpiece all the way off the track to get to the screws underneath.

what about the glue they jammed in there? I want to sell the skis so I want to do a good job unmounting them

The glue is only meant to hold water out...so the wooden core of your ski doesn't get wet and rot, it won't have any effect on you unscrewing the bindings.

....unless epoxy was used (extremely doubtful, but...) if that is the case, heat the screw head for 30 seconds with a soldering iron, and then unscrew it. Repeat for each screw.

Binding screws aren't just a normal philips head, so if you can, use a #3 Pozidrive screwdriver so you don't strip the heads trying to get the screws out.

Also a good point, though a #3 phillips will work if you don't have a pozidrive bit, they can be hard to find.

This is a very complicated proccess that takes considerable time and effort. To unmount your bindings, there are many steps that you must follow if you are to do this quest correctly. This is a long and tedius journey that requires much skill, effort, and thought. Do not partake on this quest withought thouroughly weighing the outcomes. There is no try, only do or dont.

1. Get philips head screw driver (looks like this +)

2. Unscrew the screws that hold the bindings to your skis

Many times too, you will have to break the bond in the holes with a screwdriver before you can back the screws out with a drill.

unscrewing can be a bit of a bitch because of the epoxy

my skis were a pain in the ass to unscrew, i had to use a wrench on the screwdriver to be able to turn the screws.

also, be careful about stripping a screw. i tripped one screw out of the 16 i took off, it fucking sucked. i took soo much effort to get off, i brought it to a ski shop and they couldnt do it. i eventually got it off but it was a bitch
