Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.

my older bro goes their and likes it alot, but he pretty much gave up skiing after high school

i live bout an hour and a half north of there

but i ski down there every weekend at tyrol basin or cascade. lemme know if you wanna ride sometime...

i live less than 20 mins from tyrol and ull prob be livin 30-40 mins away from tyrol. Tyrol has a decent rail park but shitty jumps cause we are in the midwest but cascade should have a some nice jumps up this year hopefully

lol i live about 3-3.5 hours away from there but i'll probably see you at tyrol and cascade anyways sometime. i'm applying for UW-Madison, hopefully i get in.

Seriously look into Cascade's pass prices for weekends ar whenever. Superpipe and tons of rails and good jumps. Duane who builds shit there went to Cutter's Camp at Hood and gained even more knowledge on building fun shit.

Tyrol is fun too, even closer for you by about 15 minutes, but their pipe is old and small with a bunch of vert. Decent rails and usually one or two decent jumps, but I forget how much they charge for passes. Tyrol used to rule it hands down, now Cascade stole that title.

if there's one piece of advice I can give you, it is this: get a couple of buddies and go on a big road trip up to the northernmost tip of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and ski at Mt. Bohemia, it's badass.

tyrol has been better in the past but this season cascade will def take the cake especially if they get another jump or 2 and a few more rails

make the drive up to Marquette for the best park in the midwest, then a lil' bit further to mt. bohemia, it's pretty bomb-ass.

keep an eye out for the kids at Cascade, they are all assholes! j/k come up and say hello. we ride there probably 4-7 days a week. afternoon classes during college rock!

Yes, Cascade is better than Tyrol. What is confusing about a Superpipe compared to a shitty pipe. Or a high speed quad compared to a rickety slow lift system at Tyrol.

im a tyrol rider and tyrols the shit and will prob be better for you if u live in madison but even with there park getting 'better' cascade is gonna be better this year than tyrol. Cascade will be farther away though but idk how much. tyrol straight though there terrain consists of rails which are two c boxes a fdf/dfd/ a triple hinge rail that can be fdf/dfd/ufd or any other combo they got a shitty rainbow along with a shitty box and they got a 42ft straight rail and a high rail idk if u like jumps go cascade if u like rails go tyrol but still visit cascade cause i bet this yr there gonna have a sweet park
