thomas jefferson designed the main campus. It's pretty sweet actually. Thats about all I have to say. the people I know that went there loved it though.
It also sponsors the greatest study abroad program ever, Semester at Sea! Any college student should seriously consider it, and message me with any questions, best decision you'll ever make, guaranteed.
UVA is a very good school... one of the top public universities in the country. Semester at Sea is a joke as far as academics go, though. As long as you don't get mugged you'll have an awesome trip.
My brother just graduated from UVA. Like I said it is a good school but the general student population is pretty shitty but you can always find a good group of people to chill with.
I came down to choosing between Virginia and Vermont. I go to Vermont and I love it. But it was a hard choice. Charlottesville is an awesome town but wintergreen sucks.
it's a good school, I go tech but I have some friends there and they really like it. massanutten and wintergreen are the only places around there; they arent that good. The closest good place to ski is snowshoe which would be 4 or 5 hours from Charlottesville.
