So, i know it's really early to be talking about next school year, but i just found out i'm going here, and realized so are a ton of other people. If you're going to the Univeristy of Utah as a freshman this fall, say "YEAH!" or "JEA" for you park rats. Where are you guys gonna be skiing at? And if you want a room mate and are staying in the dorms say so.. i wanna a cool room mate who shreds gnar.

When I was at Alta I met this student there that scheduled his classes from like 5-9 PM and skied at Alta every single day. Do that. I also met some girl who's going there, but no idea what her name is or anything. You're welcome for the "help"...

whatd you kids get in with grades and sat wise just wondering because im starting to do college shit as a junior in high school and u of u is definately high on my list

idelphia on NS goes there, he is a freshman this year. You're only gonna be 20-30 minutes away from Snowbird/Alta, so thats probably what you'll hit up.

I think it's a little further than 20-30 minutes. it seems like the drive up the canyon is about 10 or so. And i'll prolly ride Alta/Bird, and then maybe get a Brighton pass, so i can ski park at night.

yea i am a juniot too, and i wanna know what kind of grades kids get that got in. I know a girl that is going but she wouldn't tell me her SAT score until i take them next week and tell her. if you don't mind, hook us up.

My scores were 2000 on the SAT, I;m 5th in my class and have a 4.33 GPA, but I know that you don't need that. just go look it up online.

4.33 GPA? what the Fword. i thought Gpa was outta 4.

ANYWAY.... i got a 1430 on the SAT (the new one) and have a 3.4 GPA. I am ranked 21 out of like 120 or something.

JEA!!! not!!! im to young but I live down tha street, so youll be seeing me greasing the rails outside your dorm haha!

i go to a huge school. like 3000 kids in 9-12 grade. so i guess the class rank is kind of disoriented for, but thanks for the score.

having a 2.3 gpa kinda blows im such a slacker but my sats are supposably like way above my gpa i got like a 17something on my psats

4.33.... honors and AP classes, so GPA is out of 5 on a 4 scale. It's like 3.86 or something unweighted.

It's either there or Montana State... I am going for graphic design and skiing, so I am def. not wasting my time.

Plus I got a scholarship that pays for my tuition. I get high marks mostly because I like to learn stuff, and I want to learn a lot, have a broad knowledge of whatever I can, and get money in college.

Go to utah, I think youll like it, I kno a lot of people who wont send their kids their or wouldnt go there, only because they live in utah, It is kind of a commuter school, the only reason id go there is because my parents are mobin to utah, i would say montana stae if you like BC stuff, but utah is sick too, both are decent schools. Montana States parties are pretty good i hear, and SLC is an alright college town, I dunno man, its your choice, But i think you should go with your gut feelin, ya kno man, whichever school you can truly see yourself at.

I got into both CU and U of U, but chose CU for varioous other reasons besides skiing, such as family and friends and so on... too bad i didnt choose U of U rich we coulda been roommates

I think I am pretty much at about 80% for Utah. The problem is that I can truly see myself at both places, and they are so evenly matched, it's not even funny.

if this helps

Montana=better parties, more hippies, better bars, more wilderness

UofU= More mormons, less parites, better skiing, better snow,

easy bro...haha i never gave a fuck for highschool, but that doesnt mean im not smart either...the most brilliant people never applied themselves in school man

you forgot montana=more cowboys, less of a town, picklebarrel, prarrie dog hunting

but i think im going to colorado state. or maybe western wash, it between those two. i decided against bozemen because it is not that great academically and it's no that great of a town.

naw be out there alot, from dorm it is like 20-25 depending on ur cruising speeds up the canyon. then get a house next year and be like 15 away :)

You got into utah with those grades? because ive been lookin at schools (imonly a hs sophomore) and i got that a 22 on the ACT in 7th grade. i just dont get all that great of actualy grades. I think i could get it up above a 2.9 tho, and on another practice ACT i got a 26. I didn't realize that you could get in with a 2.9 if you're being serious...
