University of oregon

willamette pass is by far the skechiest rode i have driven on. the fog freazes, ice build up, almost 5,500 vert in 45 minutes...lot's of crazy weather. the mountain is small, but very fun. buy a pair of snowshoes and go do all the small hikes around the mountain. willamette is one of the steepest around oregon. get your prozac because u of o is one of the most depressing places in the winter; i went there and, well, stay motivated to the healthy stuff and not the drugs like all the other average joes.

oh ya, get into surfing cuz the oregon coast is close too. willamette is fun, you better drop some of their cliffs.

 
willamette pass is a serious waste of time. its tiny, overpriced, and don't even think about the park. the best places are just to drive to mt hood or bachelor, both about 3 hours away.

why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice?
 
bachelor is like 3hours away, and ashland is like on the other side of the state, and ashland is worse than willamatte, but bach and hood are best

id have to say the santiam pass is waaaaay worse than willamette pass, way more sketch turns and shit, its super shitty

Santiam Pass isn't that bad, unless Hog Rock slides then you are fucked for 3 or 4 hours. Either way you have to go over a pass

totally disagree about santiam pass, willamette pass is very much so sketchier. there is a ton more traffic on santiam so ODOT puts in a lot more work there than willamette pass. and also the fact that i almost died hitting ice and sliding straight into the opposite lane as a semi was coming at me. im damn lucky the wheels finally gripped but it sure scared the shit out of my buddy and i
