University of Denver

just got accepted today, but they only offered me $14gs a year, and theres no way i can afford the remaining $31g
 
I am a frosh there now, the school is pretty sick, but if your going for the skiing there are better choices. its like an hour and half from the mountains. If you have any questions about it shot me a message
 
Ya, the drive is about an hour and a half, but honestly, it is not bad at all. The drive goes by fast as fuck, so you can still ski when you got days off
 
Bump because I am going there next year. who goes there/starting next fall? im soo stoked the campus is sick!
 
I go there now. I'ts a good school and close enough to the mountains, although not as fun as boulder. But thats probably a good thing
 
Definitely true, but, DU kinda sucks imo. You really have to get into the right crowd, cus there are a lot of douchebags eastern money that go there.
 
I go to DU, and it's pretty chill. There is a lotta money here but hey, if you can afford to go here then I'd say go for it.
 
ya thats nothing like CU haha. The only difference is the kids at CU dress like they are poor and smoke pot, and the kids at DU dress like they are whores and do coke. haha I just came up with that and I like it.
 
I really like Fort Collins but I hate where it is. I would totally trade for collins for boulder.
 
im hoping to go.. there for atleast 2 years when i get into college... im a sophmore with a 3.2 gpa if i keep that up will i get in??
 
Maybe.....3.5ish is what you should shoot for. 3.2 isnt that great. Maybe if you have a lot of extra curricular activities and a solid SAT score you could get in with a 3.2. But, I am a senior here now and it seems like they are really trying to get the DU ranking up, so they are definitely being more selective for applicants.
 
you're better off going to a community college and spending thousands (tens of thousands at that) less for your main core classes then transfer 2 years in.
