"sir francis from uh.....line"

"monster booter"

I watched this and wondered how anyone could allow him to test a ski. From what i know i think skiing magazing and freeskier have sick testers i really hope they dont have anyone like this what do you guys think?

lol thats boyne mountain, in michigan, in the midwest, where that ski should be nowhere near

i cant stand Don Thomas at all, but they support a lot of races and comps here in michigan

i can watch this over and over again and still not understand wat hes trying to get at. he just says as many useless phrases he can in the allotted time

heres our issue: this guy would never ride them unless getting paid. theyre not made for people like him. he is a person who has limited himmself to skiing groomers and carving. all day long. his main skis are probably some of those "all mountain skis". average and low cost. to each his own, but dont have these people test skis that arent built for anywhere near what they ride

I showed this to my father, who went to college in michigan and skied at boyne and nubs nob and all that shit i guess.
he immediately laughed his ass off and said "wow.. this reminds me of SO many people in the midwest who just dont get it. at all. I'm embarrassed for him.. and WHAT IS WITH THAT HELMET"
Yeeah.. i taught my 58 year old father how to talk shit on gaper steez.

really dope for rails will really hold a solid edge. Some hilarious shit.
I really want to see a video of him, doing some sevens or "rockn it backwards"

you left out perhaps the best too
"real good for spinning on flatground" I can just see jeff spinning around on flatground
and "real solid handling in reverse"

hahaha i can watch these all day. "you know (more bullshit) holds down real solid on (more random bullshit)"

This is just nit picking, sure you could use the term fatter base to mean thicker base, not wider. But why would you assume it equates to only the waist? It looks like that ski has a good amount of sidecut; the whole base geometry was "fattened" up, not just the waist. Taking everything into consideration, Imma let that part of his review slide...

ok....so to me base thickness was always how thick the P-tex under your ski was. Since that is the base, that would make more sence. Underfoot ski width is not the base. Its not easy to fuck up, they are two very very different things.

false. this is 90 percent of people from michigan and wisconsin. Unfortunatley, I ski in michigan and make it out west every few years. But be honest, even out there, 50% of all skiiers everywhere still ski this way with the all around gaper philosophy.

go to skis.com, and look under video reviewslok at the fischer cold heats, the guy owns him, they didnt edit out his blunder!
