UNI and skiing in Sweden

Im going to do a semester of study in Sweden in jan 2011. What would you recommend ? Where is there a UNI close to good skiing. My uni has an exchange with Uppsala which is looking preety good.
 
Just read another post, I think Uppsala is the go, which is perfect.... is there any sites or anything or some ski resorts near by ?
 
Yo, I'm in exchange at the moment in Gävle, bout 40 minutes from Uppsala. I was recommended Kungsberget and it was a great place, although a 2 hours ride from your stay and the twintip package was twice as expensive as a normal rental set.

Just one suggestion.
 
Look up if they have anything in Mittuniversitetet it's 95km from Åre, so I'd say it's the best located in comparison to the best skiing! I live in Finland though so I'm not sure on other places, all I know is that a friend of mine is studying at that uni!
 
sounds good I will look into it, I will bring my skis so no hiring is needed. Uppsala seems the closest to good skiing . I only have a few choices as my uni only has 4 exchange partners in sweden.
