Uneven DINs on each foot?

I'll be skiing for the first time this weekend since i tore my MCL back in August this year.

Its about 90% healed but I'm still not absolutely sure about it.

Was wondering if any of you have thoughts on turning the DIN down on my left ski (the injured one) as a preventative measure, I usually ski on 8-8.5 and was thinking maybe i could turn the left ski down to around 7.

Thoughts?

I would take things easy and adjust both bindings to the same din setting. If you feel the need to lower the din on your weak knee, you should match it to your strong knee. But realize that this will increase your chances of coming out of your bindings when you didn't want to. That might hurt. A lot.

Would you rather risk another injury by skiing now when your knee is at 90% and possibly put yourself out for another few months, or wait a couple more weeks and be able to ski worry-free when youre 100% ready?

Why are you taking the chance at skiing on an injury that is only at 90%? You risk hurting yourself worse.

What does your doctor/surgeon/physiotherapist think about you skiing?

Physio has given me the thumbs up, I'm from Australia so this is the only chance I'll get at skiing this winter. Have been trampolining for the last couple of weeks doing all my usual tricks with no worries.
