UNDERWEAR!!

I'm not in the know about underwear. so for the people who care about proper layering (not xxxxxl cotton tall tees), enlighten me.

do bottom thermal baselayers serve as your underwear? as in, under that, is your wee wee?

last season, i've always worn cotton boxers, and then my dri-fit tights, and snowpants on top. But I'm thinking now that kinda defeats the purpose of having a polyester layer. it hasn't been a problem with me so much but it could help in cold weather in the future. and I just reeaaallly want to know what you guys wear under your pants.

Cotton boxers work for me. I now consider my HH LIFA layer essential though. Invest in one if you havent.

i just freeball it under snow pants some days its good except when u happen to miss a rail and nut urself it hurts a tad bit worse

When I rock long undies I don't wear anything under them. some people seem to think it's weird but that's just how I've always done it and as you said it really defeats the purpose to wear something under a base layer...

i know this doesn't answer your question but my pants are warm enough with just boxers on i usually wear some b ball shorts over my boxers for more warmth and doesn't let snow melt against your skin.

under armour makes nice boxers out of their material, not compression shorts but loose boxers basically, real smooth and warm. that and some ball shorts and youre set.

i free ball it under my long underwear. its glorious. but i dunno how steezy that would be if you like to wear your pants off your ass. showing everyone your thermals isnt exactly "cool"

if its super duper cold out (like -30 or lower) I throw on my 1 piece duofold thermal layer with no boxers, and there is no way my body or legs get cold in that. I also use a duofold shirt for a baselayer sometimes, but usually it just makes me overheat. My brother wears thsoe shiny basketball shorts under his snow pants because he is wacky. He says they improve his performance by at leats 60%
