Underage Drinking, Part II (this whole thing sucks)

First, thanks for all your responses, they helped calm my nerves if anything. You guys are cool

But I do have some problems still. They said call the court on tuesday to talk to the judge or w/e, so i'm just going to plead my case i guess if they let me? and just say how i have to drive for school and work next year (is that a good idea?). Also, I decided to wait to tell my parents until i talk to the judge, any ideas on how to approach them about this? They are pretty lenient (?) with some things, but i have a feeling they'll flip shit with this. Again, any input is awesome. thanks

ps- i would have also kept running but i was wearing a cast on my leg so for me to even jump over the fences i did was pretty hardcore haha.

when you get a suspended license, you can still drive to school or work. at least where I live, but I would think that's the case everywhere.

if you are under 18, don't bother with a lawyer. just take whatever they give you since it doesn't matter if the charge goes on your record, since when you turn 18, it will be gone. if you are over 18, get a lawyer. you don't plead your case to a judge, your lawyer works out a deal with the prosecutor. and no lawyer means the prosecutor isn't going to deal with you. yes, it's lame but thats the misdemeanor judicial machine we have in this country.

there have been countless underage drinking citations in this country and nobody died or had their life ruined from it.

its a misdemeanor, not big deal. Go to court, tell them you need to be able to drive for work and school if they bring up taking your license away, listen to what the judge has to say, pay your fine and get on with your life. Its really not the end of the world... merely a consequence that you have to deal with because you broke the law and got caught.

man up about it and if you're that scared go to church
