I'm near Salzburg, Austria right now, from Truckee, CA. Anyone know of any under the radar rad places to do some backcountry or small local ski resorts that kick ass?? Lemme know I want to get into some weird, unique places!

I just moved to Salzburg a few weeks ago! I’m not super familiar with the area yet but tomorrow going to Sportgastein, a small resort near Salzburg that has some killer freeride spots. Hochkoenig is also really sick for resort riding or touring. Kitshteinhorn summit at Kapiun isn’t really “under the radar” but it’s really fun and lift lines are mellow. PM me if you want to ride together

The best resort for freeride is Zauchensee (i could only Ski there for the rest of my life and I would still not get bored) but it’s not really under the radar.This season hasn’t been great for touring one of the best lines called “Alpgartenrinne” in Bischofswiesen could not once be skied this year.If you want to go to Zauchensee i could show you some spots.
