Any skiers out there that you think diserve some more credit then they get? i would have to say Mikael Deschenaux hes just got such a great style and it goes un-noticed. but tell me what you think..

There are tons of riders who don't get the props they deserve. Wade Binkley and Pete Mithoeffer to name a few.

MICKAEL is fucking miles away from any competition. The industry and everyone tending to it is so far from any idea. Mickael is the future, and no one knows it.

Grunow is sick too, Crichton is sick, Ianick B is pretty sick, couple young kids - Simon Dumont, Mike Wilson, Dash Longe, they should all be unreal in about 3 or 4 years.

Well seeing as this is underrated skiers and not unknown skiers I would have to say JT Holmes. He's a big name and all who has vid segments but he is so underrated for the stuff he does.

If youre talking about comps, how bout this one - All you kids are so brainwashed into thinking that comps are the only outlet of skiing. Mickael couldnt care less about comps. Finally some pros are coming around on that notion.

Ianik B is so good. I think he should be in way more movies and mags. He has one of the smoothest styles, snowboarder-like. I think he used to board too, maybe thats why.

i dont think Iannick is gonna have any trouble in getting recognition. I never heard of him until this summer at camp, so, i suppose hes a newcomer, and hes good enough (6th in XGAmes i think) to be in bigger movies (than Steryotype) next year. he's gonna rule it!

Mike wilson has got crazy style and the calgary riders like Eric Hjorliefson and colin puskas and others are crazy talented

 
Late Lassila is definately one of the sickest skiers I've seen in a while. He can throw Cork 1080s as well as style 540s on big tables, and also his abilities on the rails.

It takes control to throw a 1080 and stomp it.

Mikael could care less about anything. That is why he might be considered inconsistent.

A lot of young - ie. undiscovered - skiers mentioned. Underated is Chris Hawks.

His name isn`t Late Lassila actually...Late is just his nickname. His real name is Lauri Lassila and he`s a part of Finish freestyle skiingteam and yes he pulls corked 7`s on moguls ;)

I think on a large scale every freeskier out there, I mean even Tanner Hall, I live in montana where he is from and it's ridiculous how anyone that doesn't own a pair of twin tips has never heard of him or anyother pro skiers for that matter, freeskiing needs to reach the foreground I'm talkin more publicity more of it on TV, etc.

It's gettin bigger and should no longer be contained

the thing I like about highschool girls, is I keep getting older but they stay the same age!
 
i think iannick b is definately underated. his rails are incredible but his jumps do need to get better in my opinion

 
tom dolezel, and ellis are the most underrated!!! ellis fakie off axis 7 at the winter classic on that gigantic hip!! kicked my ass..... if you want to see super super sick footage of iannick from 4 years ago send me a message... berman said he was amazed that iannick wasnt recognized before this summer with the footy that i got....

mikeal is the sickest rider i have ever seen.... whenever i see him ride i turn into a little girl at a backstreet boys concert.. the kid rips.. inconsistent my balls... maybe he inconsistently goes to comps, cause he's not all about em....

 
I also think most people from overseas are underated.. Its hard for them they have to make a name in thier homeland and then come to the States and start all over again.

steele spence is mad good...he is super smooth and has some sick style...he has accomplished a lot of shit too and doesnt really get that much credit...first person to do a rail to rail transfer...thats deffinately progression.

 
I would say that Dan Ellis guy is over rated, the guy who pulled the switch rodeo at the Winter Classic. I was talking to his best friend for a while and he was saying the guy can even ski down a blue trail, let olone turn, he's only been skiing for a year and just does jumps. This wasn't just some guy saying this, is was his best friend, so it wasn't bullshit.
