it's true tho...this kid stepped up at least two levels today due to these skis...they're magic or sumfin.

They seemed solid enough... far more so than STLs, anyways, and the latter have been the most hyped ski on this site all winter.

Ignorant? It's something closer to 'I'm not going to agree with what everyone on NS says for no better reason than everyone seems to enjoy ski-trend-following'. The majority of people on this site have no idea what they're talking about, so why do people feel the need to listen to them all the time? Strength in numbers? That sounds far more ignorant to me than actually going by one's own impressions. The T-halls just seemed solidly made to me, the STLs, far less so. I would ski T-halls, if they weren't so damned expensive.

I didnt get them to fallow a trend, I skiid them and they were the best park ski (FOR ME IN MY OWN OPINION)on the planet so i bought them because they were turning my 3's into 5's and my 5's into 7's..

Oh yeah, they perform outside the park too even with detuned edge's , I made som super fast G's turns doing about 45 mph and i was all money, the edges whistle when you put them on edge at the right speed its so fucking cool.

JD, I respect your opinion of thinking that the STL has not been made a strong as the THall. But to me based off coments in other threads you have a biased against 4frnt, and that you were infact going off of the information that NS has provided.

I like both skis, I love my MSPs and my friends love their STLs. I would like to get Thalls, but the 176 is too small. I think both companies are making a super solid ski. Everyone that I talk to that has riden one or the other has liked them.

^That's something you need to fix, you can't cure problems with your technique by spending money on new equipment. That's ridiculous. I hope you were joking and I misread that.

Actually i couldnt really get my spin's around because i was sking seth pistols in the park and that extra swing weight affected me smart guy so yeah you dont have to spend alot of money to improve your skill but sometimes it sure as fuck help's.

How's this: he said 'over rotating'. Not 'my skis are too heavy, and that's bothering me'. This is not an equipment issue. This is an easy fix if he just works on it, and doesn't require that he spends hundreds of dollars. If that's the first thing that comes into your head when you're having issues, then you're not looking at things the right way. By the way, considering you seem to be without the ability to read (you inexplicably came to the conclusion that I was calling you a trend whore for buying Thalls, when I was clearly talking about STLs), I find any sarcastic references to the intelligence of others on your part to be a bit amusing, and a bit sad.
