never. I hate the unzipped cape steeze. It's gaper to the max, and pointless. either wear a shell or no coat, or at least zip it halfway, so you still get airflow but it stays shut

u should only unzip ur shit durin bootpack, wtf? just wear a shell. if u put some money into it you will stay nice and warm without a puffy as fuck "coat". and besides, most hi-end ski/snoboard pants/jackets have wat we call "vents" so u can unsip this shit and the air goes in and u cool down
