Umpiring baseball

I just started to umpire ages 5-6 7-8 and it is the funniest shit ever. some know what they are doing but most dont and they just make it more fun bc you have stuff to laugh at. Also the kids are a younger age and they have young moms and some are such milfs. the best part about it is that i get $10 a game which takes about an hour.anyone else umpire or ref soccer or anything?
 
dude im in the same boat as you. i had one game at 1230 today. the kids are skill-less! but everyone starts somewere. but for, i ump the 9-10 and the 11-12 year olds. and i get 23 dollars a game. last weekend i had two games in a row and i was done by 1230. its very easy money! but sometimes the job is super borring.

today there was an austistic kid on the visiting team. I think its super nice of the city to let him play but its just not fair. when the kid had to go bat, the father had to walk with him, when the kid played the feild (nothing but right feild) the father had to go with him. i had to call time twice because the boy took off his shoe and his father had to come on the field and tie it. The little boy also was inlove with pulling his dads hair allong with his teamates which was not okay. i understand that the kid has problems, but he just can physically harras other kids. hard by the kid though for wanting to get out there and hard by the city for allowing him to experiance the joy of baseball
 
yeah, im only on my first season so im only getting the base pay.my friend has been doing it for a few seasons and is getting 15 a game.
yeah im going to try and get like 2 or 3 early games in the summer and then i will have $30 by the time my friends wake up.
 
i umped for 10or15$ per game last year. it kinda sucked because the games were two hours of terribly played baseball. and half the time coaches didnt know what they were doing and would argue every call against them. it was kind of funny especially when they would argue a rule and would break out the rulebook and everything just so they could get proved wrong.
 
hahahah i had to yell at the coach and they were getting really mad at me and my friend that i was umpiring with
 
i umped one game, got accused of throwing the game and had a dad almost beat the shit out of me. The field ump said that from what he could see everything i was calling was basically spot on. i mean honestly it wasnt like i knew any of the 8 year olds or coaches or anything why would i throw the game and have my home town team loose
