Alright, so bassicly im getting an xray and ultrasound on my shoulder this saturday to see if i need surgery. My problem: I remeber reading somewhere that you need to have a full blader or some shit before an ultrasound, and im getting really drunk the night before.

From past experiences do you guys know if theres anything i should do or not do before this??

lol yeah i know i had a few lol's when i first heard it too but naw, it just has a minor dislocation everytime i move it and pops in and out grabbing and tearing nerves and tendons and shit in my shoulder...

I had to have one on my heart. I don't remember them every saying anything specifically about what to eat or drink or anything. Plus, they would have told you if there were anything you needed to do. If you are still worried, just call up the hospital and ask. Just tell them you are going to be drinking the night before and are just making sure that everything will be fine. They will let you know, and it's a more reliable source than NS haha.

great advice, and like he said;they would have told you if there was anything that could affect the ultrasound, and since they didn't, you're probably fine

Ye, thats what i was thinking, exept that im 17 and i dont really think if asked my doctor weather or not I should be drinking the night before he would right away recomend no... But i googled around and it seemed the only kind of ultrasound you need to prepare for is an abdominal one so yeah. S'all good

I had a bump on my nuts and had to go get them utlrasound- turns oiut it was some enflamed thing on the inside- not cancer
but i didnt have to clean em up- the guy said hair is okay- not that i have gorilla balls or anything tho haha

if you had to have a full bladder it would be for your stomach or you would have to fast, its your shoulder; your good man.

I have ultrasounds done on my neck every 3 months. you dont have to do anything. just make sure you wipe all the gel stuff that they use cuz it itches after
