Ughh ski boots.

So last season it was time to buy some new boots. I went through two different styles (salomon, lange) before I finally landed on the Full Tilt Soul sister. My feet are not particulary narrow but for some reason they just work for me. The bigggest issue I have... I constantly get cramps in my arches while standing still or riding lifts. They are a dream to ski and walk in but anything stationary is brutal. WTF. I've tried just pulling the insole out and rocking just a liner ( this solved the issue) but I feel like I have less control, less surface contact in the boot.

SO to all the ladies out there rockin the ft's whats the verdict?

Insoles with liner? Just liner? Insoles under the liner (I've heard of some dudes doing this.) Just striaght up drugstore insole?

When I bought my full tilts at christy sprots, they told me I HAD to get insoles, that intuition liners came without them to encourage custom...later on a full tilt dealer in Breck told me that couldnt be further from the truth. I really dont want to give up on my ft's but I'm also seeking boot heaven. Thoughts?

Try going to a boot fitter, they can usually come up with a solution.

This exactly. I have the ft Mary Janes and I got them custom fit. I've never had a problem with them since. I have heard ladies complain about their full tilts though and getting them heat molded by boot fitters or doing it themselves usually takes care of it.

Can you get your innersoles softened? I had the same problem when I used my normal in-shoe orthotics because they are stiffer/ harder than my sport specific orthotics.

I have full tilt MJs and one of my boots has an insole and the other doesn't. idk. keep trying something will work eventually

I just want to emphasize that your boots fitting right is super important. I fractured my ankle two weeks ago and I'm 99 percent sure if my boots fit me right, it could have been avoided.

My insoles are custom. I've never heard of "softening" them. They def seem too stif. Will for sure look into it tho. ...Thanks!!!!!!!!

For sure! My souls sister's with the custom footbeds are SUCH a dream to ski in, great fit ...it's just lifts and standing that is sooo bad. I literally feel like a boarder ever time I get off a lift..strapping into my boots. Annoying.
