UFOs and Aliens

Yo so I was thinking about all the UFO sightings and all that and it got me thinking.
What if they were real? Like what if the aliens were just all over the place and the dumb ones got seen by us or something like that? There's a shit ton of videos on Youtube about these things and lots document the exact same phenomena.
My buddy took a picture when he was in Turkey and there was some strange light formation like a constellation but mid day. It was identical to another similar formation in some video from India. Like my mind was kinda blown. Like there are some NASA pics too that are just crazy shit. They might not be aliens but they're not normal, that's for sure.

And the whole thing is, if there were real alien encounters the gov'ts would probably hide it to stop panic, or at least pay tabloids or whatever to make it seem less serious. Just talking out my ass but I'm seriously interested in this whole thing.

I mean I don't doubt it at all.

A renowned scientist (I forget who, but I'll post back) stated that in the universe, at the lowest probability, there are around 10 planets that could sustain life like the Earth.

brb with evidence in 5

Yeah but like you said there are ancient records of it so there must be some real-ish aspect to it that we don't know.
Hell, it could be a scientifically explainable phenomenon, but how do we know? And if it is, what is it?
Oh man kinda baked now and the idea seems even stranger to me.

It's crazy to think that like there are probably alien civilizations out there that could be like way differently evolved than us. Like who know how big they would be or what they would look like. they might not even be like individual things but like one giant living mass on like a planet or something. also the universe is so old some civalizations might be way more advanced than us, or some might be extinct, and for sure when the earth dies I bet life will just be starting on a different planet.
this page is gonna be so full of baked kids

I am almost positive that life exists elsewhere in the universe, or even our galaxy, but I doubt that any of them have ever been here before.

i-cant-believe-its-not-butter-ufo-x-files-i-want-t1.jpg

for real tho I'm a believer. any of you heard of USOs? Unidentified submerged objects? Some craaaazy shit. Just searched on youtube real quick and found this video its pretty interesting

shit wont let me embed so I'll have to quote

I think for the majority of the sightings are all fakes and hoaxs.

but i have seen a UFO myself, it was weird, like a square lighting up. But in this case I'm lead to believe it was the army like every other real sighting.

If the person who saw it isn't BSing you, theres usually a reasonable explanation behind it. Like the army or satallites

well, a lot of tribes claim their existence on a "extraterrestric thing". hell, even jesus is supposed to live somewhere "above". ancient egypts believed their first god came to the earth with a thingy shaped like an obelisk. there is a tribe in africa (i could look up the name) that thinks its ancestors came from sirius B (needless to say, that western scientists discovered sirius B in 1930 or so) and these people describe it perfectly as a small, but very heavy star, nowadays called a white dwarf. even in the bible, there is a vision described by habakuk, i believe, and if someone sees the same stuff now, he will think of a spaceship.
there is a lot of stuff going on, but we dont know for sure. and even physics adds a little spice: aliens couldnt just send a reconnaissance-aircraft to us and check us out. you cannot travel faster than light, although the distance will become very short at high speed. so, somehow, they could be here, but unless they pack a significant part of their civilization on THE SAME spaceship, it wouldnt make much sense for them to be here.
i wrote my highschool-diploma in religion about the meaning of life, and i wrote about religions, aliens, "mind-evolution", suicide, genocide and even the "worlds conscience", but i cant remember too much right now.

I've never seen anyone use "like" so many times in a post before. Please tell me you're a 16 yr old girl and you live in Hollywood. Otherwise there is like no like excuse for like typing like this!!

I was really into this for a while, and the bottom line is that there has never been any credible evidence.

A lot of the sightings have been explained by military aircraft. People were convinced that there was a UFO over Phoenix. But after a little research, it becomes obvious that they were flares on parachutes.

I really want there to be alien cultures that are advanced enough to visit the earth. But in reality I doubt this and find it highly unlikely that we have ever had alien visitors.

In my life time i have actually SEEN two UFO. now they dont necessarily mean aliens just creeepy ass flying things that i cant explain. leaves ya thinking. its mad uncomfortable when you see them.

Actually, if you consider the universe to be truly universal (thus infinite), containing with in it all confines of space time and our own "universe" as well as all other singular "universes", then there are infinite copies of us, infinite variations of us, and infinite copies of each of those variations. [/mindfuck]

Dr. Frank Drake, an astrophysicist, came up with this equation to calculate ("estimate") the number of intelligent civilizations in the Millky Way.
The Drake equation states that:
847914dec26cc45ac2957da0054683de.png
where:N = the number of civilizations in our galaxy with which communication might be possible;andR* = the average rate of star formation per year in our galaxyfp = the fraction of those stars that have planetsne = the average number of planets that can potentially support life per star that has planetsfℓ = the fraction of the above that actually go on to develop life at some pointfi = the fraction of the above that actually go on to develop intelligent lifefc = the fraction of civilizations that develop a technology that releases detectable signs of their existence into spaceL = the length of time such civilizations release detectable signals into space.

the thing is though, we only really have our case study of earth in the study of life. we really have no idea of the mysteries of the universe and life formation out there as well. the possibilities are so incredibly infinite, really any sort of argument on this subject can be advocated by the fact that our science is really so primitive as comparative to a civilization capable of interstellar travel. our earthly science is just our best educated guess. we're a bunch of babies trying to get ahold of our motor skillis in a big dark room called space. just my take on it.

I posted this in the NS Thinkers cult a while back but nobody took a bite lol. Basically, there are a lot of people that beleive our ancient ancestors recieved help. Watch some of the videos. They talk about possibilities that most people wont acknowledge because they have already been taught.

Past civilizations may have been more advanced and older than what you

have learned. Watch the documentary below about the sphinx & other

cool stuff in Egypt. What they talk about, is that the precision and

techniques used in ancient Egypt are beyond current explanation. What

they get into in the later parts of the

documentary is that the sphinx shows undeniable evidence of water

erosion and the last time there was that amount of water in Egypt was

like 12,000 years ago.

Another thing to think about while watching this is that even with

today's technology it would take decades upon decades to construct the

pyramids and some of the other monuments. Did the Egyptians get some

outside help? It may seem a bit far fetched but it's completely

plausible. Read Erich von Daniken's book "Chariots of the Gods".

If you want the ADD version of his book check out this documentary from the history channel.

check out this video some fishermen took of a UFO/USO. There are fighter jets and military helicopters flying around trying to get a look at whatever the hovering thing over the water is, and then it just dives down underwater. obviously could be a fake... but I don't know-- it looks pretty legit to me. And the planes and helicopters are real for sure, so what are they looking at if the UFO is fake?

ALEEYUNZ IZ REEL!!!!

motherf*cker won't let me embed.

i did an astronomy lab where we used this equation to estimate the nearest planet with life, i got 25000 light years i think. but yeah. im confident there has to be other planets with life. in a universe consisting of:

-Billions of galaxies

-each galaxy containing billions of stars

-many stars having there own extra solar planets (planets that aren't in our solar system)

-that leaves billions of planets for habitable life.

take those billions of planets and cross off like 99.9% of that because they have no

-water

-atmosphere

-aren't in the habitable zone from there star (star at the middle or that solar systems"Sun")

- tons of other factors

and you still have tons of planets left over.

not to mention, we have Europa (one of Jupiter's moons) next door to Earth. It consists of a hot hot core and a frozen solid crust. its only common sense to assume there is most likely a ocean inbetween the core/crust. We have life on Earth that lives off of black smokers in our ocean, without sunlight. So why couldn't there be a chance of organisms living in the ocean under neath Europa's crust?

We haven't even inspected all of the possibilities for life in our solar system, so my belief is that with a small chance in our solar system of extra terrestrial life, that leaves a huge chance for life in one of the other billions of solar systems out there.

i'd probably bet my life on it (only if i would get like millions of dollars if i were right)

haha i've noticed that. thanks man. i feel like somebody should have said this by now but it's way possible that other organisms don't function the same way organisms on earth due. carbon plays a hugeeee part in the life on earth. i think it's def possible that other worlds support life in many other ways

ex: avatar!!! haha. they navi breathed a gas that was poisonous to humans. so even if another planet doesn't have the same make-up as earth i'm sure it's possible that life could be sustained.

I think it's stupid not to think there's other life other than us. Just the fact that the universe has billions of galaxies with millions of planets in each should make it obvious. Even if there was one per trillion that could support life that would leave 1000's.

Yes, you are right. My name is Zorgrbiad∂∆ and I am from the planet Gorgpøe∆å†. I traveled here in a Unidentified Flying Object, as you would call it. My quadrevic, or spaceship you humans from Earth call it, was damaged when it crash landed in one of your "Ski Mountains". A human managed to snap a picture of me but I friend his brain with my lazerbeams.

I've never really believed anything about UFOs but it's really interesting. The main reason I cant believe it is because of those history channel shows. I was watching one where this old man (who refuses to ever take his sunglasses off) says that a giant concrete hexagon was a NAZI UFO testing cage.

It's pretty hilarious

Hence why my comment only referenced typing like that. Notice that I didn't say anything about talking like a valley girl. (even though that makes a person sound like an idiot, too.)

Wow watched both those documentary series about ancient humans getting "help". Some of that is just strange. Like the ancient models of airplanes. Or the runways on top or the plateau. Or how complex the pyramids are. I'm already so addicted to this stuff. It doesn't matter how true it is anymore, it just makes you think so much. Pondering aliens and the earth's past is just unreal.
I'll get to the other vids and stuff later. Might find some stuff of my own to share too at the rate I'm going at this.

ah good point. I don't like say like all the time like other californians, like, do, because i'm like a transplant. but I caught on with the rest of the lingo quickly... I say bro, dude, man, radical... so much. I've said dude three times in one sentence without realizing it, only to have people point it out to me.

Ah, the joys of the land of chill...

Yeah I joined that cult, then realized that it hadn't had a post since a long time ago. I was pretty stoked on that cult when it began actually.

yessss. dude I've read some about the ancient models and cave paintings of spaceships/airplanes and that shit is just inexplicable. probably the most clear-cut proof of extra-terrestrial life being present on earth imo.

Ancient+Model+Aircraft.gif

also all of the crazy ancient geoglyphs carved into the ground all around the world are pretty impressive... they obviously could have been made by humans but its hard to say

Universe is massive. Insanely stooooooooooooooooooooopid big.

There has to be millions of planets with life everywhere. Everythings just, well, more then a little spread out.

And the whole aliens having technology topic.

A society that learns to sustain itself forever would eventually discover peace and love. And embrace, and base, this in their society.

Now with a civilization that does not destroy itself, or waste dumbass time creating more and more destructive weapons, would have a much extremely faster rate of developing technology.

And a peaceful society, would not destroy, lose history, rebuild, destroy, lose history, rebuild (ie. rome, egypt, maya etc.)| It would make its number one goal be to sustain itself.

Now, what kind of technology would a peaceful, sustained society have, over a 500 year period? Or how about 1000 years? What about 5000 years?

I guarentee you over a period of 5000 years, shit you can't even fathom is possible.

100 years ago the magic of electricity was discovered? Look where we are already. 5000 years?

And what would we have if we lived in a peaceful world right now? Everyone working, developing together? All nations as one? That 100 years would be more like 200 years worth.

The imagination is the single most valuable trait to accomplish the infinite.

I have absolutely no problem with California lingo like dude, bro, etc. Shit, I use those all of the time, too. I actually haven't even really ever noticed anything different in their lingo when I've been there. I was simply making the "like" reference to Cali because it's a common stereotype...and the way that dude typed that post completely fit the Cali-Valley girl stereotype, so I wanted to bust his balls.
But back to the topic at hand, I think that the universe is too god damned big to only have one planet with the right conditions for producing life. Those equations posted above really help put it in to perspective.

I forget who said this but it is one of my favorites.

"There are two possibilities of life in the universe. There is other life in the universe, and there is not. Each possibility is equally frightening."
