might be headed to UC Boulder next year for school. Just wondering about the ski scene there, what NS members go to school there and if they like it!? any info is appreciated!

Yup.

But really, it's awesome here. First year here, I absolutely love it. I've got 30 days in, taking a little break because I split my knee open...so I kinda have to. You can balance skiing and school, you just have to get work done when you need to and you'll be fine. The mountain biking here doesn't suck either.

Hope you come here!

Seems far from the mtns IMO. there are equally if not better schools in the mountains that are closer to skiing.

to really drive this fact in....

Any UC-whatever.the.fuck = cali.

People, especially those actually from Boulder, will think you are retarded if you call it UC-Boulder.

And it is an awesome school/town. You will enjoy it.

Yes there are a lot of schools closer to the mountains. But it will be hard to find a school as close to so many great ski areas with an environment like CU. Everything about Boulder is amazing. Best 4 years of my life and I wish I was still there everyday.

thanks for all the input guys, really getting some good vibes from CU (not UC) boulder. sorry again about the mix up!

This is stokey, My parents are making me start to look at colleges now.

i really want to go to CU boulder.

And this just sent my stoke sky high for this!

Who said he's going there only for skiing?

If all one cares about is skiing, there are plenty of colleges better than CU. If one also cares about getting a quality education, that number drops considerably.

haah heath's being sarcastic people.. it is one of the best major universities for skiing. but obviously schools like sierra nevada or colroado mtn are better. university of utah is also better if skiing is 100% of what you want to do. but overall if your looking for a big state school with a lot of people and tons of fun shit to do in a really rad place, then yeah cu is the shit.

everytime i visit boulder i get extremely pissed with alot of the people there. but it is one of the coolest college towns ive been too and my friends that live there seem to love it. skiing is pretty far from the school but if you have a car youll be okay.
