lol, My first day of Uni i walked into one hallway and there were signs everywhere that said SPEAK ENGLISH ONLY, i was like sweet this is my kinda school then i realized i was in the ESL area and they have to speak english in their classes i was disapointed, i feel sorry for this one chinese guy in my class he has no clue what is going on, he does so badly on his test and starts crying

Haskayne school of business is pretty good in Calgary, its where i am and i love how slack it is once you get in, for the first year anyway, fridays off etc, and we make more money, bwahahah. Calgarys good place for skiing, mountains 1 hour away with awesome skiing, and cop in city with a decent park. ill be at ubc later in november to shit kick theyre rugby team and i do have to say they have a nice campus. GO dinos biatch

note to self avoid blowing motor....again
 
oh yea so i found out that because my schools scoring/ grading is different then that of canadas my gpa went up aton, you guys have a 50 percent passing grade at my school is 60 percent passing, so it changes everything. also what i didn't realize is that because of the high school i goto in relation to other high school gpa's my score would be .5 or even 1 whole point higher, so that changes things

i go to university of portland its a pretty cool place, small campus but close to the city so it feels bigger. we have a really good business program and of course.... mt. hood

^ that actually sounds good...I'm doing international business in upstate NY, nothing special, Iw ant to ransfer or get an MBA at a renowned school...I hate big schools, it's gotta suck to have 80 kids in one class...my classes are like 25 people+ in all my honors seminars tha class size isn't over 15 students (it rocks)

ok from my reasearch, i'm also think of going to UBC, ive found that it cost (for international students) an average of $11,000 a year Canadian! That is cheap for an american. Saudar School of Buisness along with there science programs are the hardes to get into. They don't care if you have SAT scores but they say a 1200 greattly helps you. They take your gpa from your junior and senior year only.

I know a couple of kids that went there from my school and they had no problems getting in, they weren't great students but they were above average, but one of the kids parents was a math teacher at our school.

University of Victoria is also a nice place. peeps might want to look into that place.

 
but remember, UBC Commerce will make you want to gut yourself.

yea i don't think i did well this morning on my SATs i find out how i did on the ACTs on the 9th, i really want to see how i did. also what i have going for me with the whole college ordeal is that i am in like tons of clubs, latin national honors society, art honors society, volunteer, everything, varsity sports, ect. so that kinda helps cause my grades aren't perfect
