Hoping to see a lot of big names in contention this year. Who's everybody got to win it? Vegas puts McIlroy at 7/1 and Spieth at 8/1. DJ, Justin Rose, and Fowler are at 18/1. As much as I'd love to see Spieth win two in a row, I think it would be unlikely at age 22. That being said, I'm hoping Rory pulls through. Although, now that the Tiger era is over, there is certainly no clear cut favorite.

Golf is so hard to predict I honestly don't know. I doubt Speith will get another major win but who knows since he's a big hitter he could do good.

I have thought Chambers Bay was pretty awesome since it opened, and that's further cemented after all the entitled bitching recently, and after the 1st round in particular.

Some seriously brutal, but sometimes fantastic, golf today.

I wouldn't go so far as to he will never win another major. He's one of the most consistent short games and putting going right now. He has a real good shot at winning at Chambers Bay this weekend

Chamber's Bay is pretty cool, but I can't say it was the best call. For one, its untraditional and ummanicured appearance kind of turns off the casual golf viewer. Also, the greens suck. Simple as that. Spieth, DJ, and Reed missed make-able putts all day because the ball wasn't holding its line on these dry and bumpy greens.

this course is absolutely insane. speith is hanging on and tied right now and but he just gained two strokes on 17. will be an infamous open to remember.
