Hello Ns I was wondering about how hard it is to get into the University of Utah? What is the the overall g.p.a of students there and what is their acceptance rate. I just wanted to know these questions because I plan on going there after High school.

Off the top of my head I think you need like a 2.0 and a 16 ACT. Basically you need a pulse. If you can't get in, you shouldn't go to college haha. Good Luck!

I got in but I'm not going. I have a 3.3 and got a 25 ACT. It's not too hard. I might be wrong but I don't think they require and essay... that might not be true but a lot of state schools don't

When I applied I think these were the requirements for your application to be considered in the first place.

I applied in the summer of 2012. You didn't need an essay for the main application, but I think one was required for the Honors College app. I was told by some friends the next year that an essay was required. I just finished my second year with a 3.8, I think I applied with a high school GPA of 3.9.

As mentioned above, it's not incredibly exclusive, by any means. I think I heard somewhere that there are 30,000 full-time students (from all classes), but I could be wrong.

I live in Salt Lake, junior in high school, you should at least get a 2.6 and an ACT of 22(24 and you're good)
