U of Utah, good for anything becides skiing

I know U of Utah is the absoulute best ski school around, but does it just suck becides skiing. I know it wont be anthing like boulder, but could i have fun off the slopes at U of Utah.

 
also what are the people at U of U like? I visted SLC for two weeks last winter and the mormons freak me out. Party scene, etc..

Utah has really changed. The U of U is finally getting some pretty cool kids. I have lived in Salt Lake my whole life and don't worry about the Mormons it's almost up to 50% non-mormons

Get into bouldering, Little Cottonwood has some of the best bouldering in the nation. The bouldering scene in Utah is a blast.

 
The mormons are weak but whatever...as a society they try to enforce they bullshit views on everyone else but as individuals they're pretty nice. I moved up to Park City their influence isn't too strong up here. Old town can be fun and the commute to the U isn't bad - I moved from LA so driving 30 minutes on a freeway that is always moving is nothing compared to an hour to go five miles. If you can hang look into it.

 
if you're into the punk scene slat lake has got a great one. my favorite is the salt city bandits. they've actually got a really cool website too www.localbeer.com. I don't know how they came up with that but it was easy for me to remember after being at one of their shows and swimming in booze!

 
i am at the u of u and my room mate is a sigma nu,you cant party with the 'greeks' unless you are one, the frats here are just a way to buy drinking friends. i find plenty of keggers around town, or just drink in the dorms with my buds.

 
sigma nu is the shit... i know a few peopel in there plus my sis goes to the U.... best damn school ever peopel r awesome so is the skiing n the school is really good educationally if that raelly matters :-/

Yeah its a good school for teaching dumbasses like yourself how to spell simple words like besides. College its a cool thing, you should check into although I doubt you have the brain cells necessary for that.
