gonna be a freshman at the U in the fall, trying to figure out where to live so i figured people here would know whats up..

im from PA but ive been to slc quite a few times

anyone who is looking for a roommate hit me up, probs gonna ski brighton mostly
 
I'm a freshman in the dorms right now. Chapel Glen is the dorm to be at. Get a 1st floor room, higher ceilings. And get a handicap room if you can, they're bigger. If not, try for a corner room, also roomier.
 
^don't get a first floor room, the ceiling height is irrelevant. go with the third floor so there's never anyone banging on your ceiling.
 
try to snag my room if you can, chapel glen 802 #51301

it's a third floor single on the end and it's larger than a lot of the doubles. prime set up.

ay ceiling height is very relevant if you loft your bed/don't have a single. and on the first floor you can stomp around all you want

So I guess it's more of a personal preference thing. Do you want the freedom to stomp around a ton or no chance of noisy upstairs neighbors?

Car is good. We always could have used an extra car or two in our friend group.

Hell yeah! Well if you're down to room, two of my buddies and I were planning on somewhere in 804 Chapel.

As for the car, it's up to you on that one. Your student card comes with an all-access UTA pass. So getting around SLC isn't that hard without a car.

But the bus systems to the hills are slow and inconvenient. When ski season comes around, having to depend on others for rides is really annoying. If you can bring a car out, I'd do it

also im gonna be out in march at some point we should try to meet up then if your down

This season we went with PCMR/Canyons. Next year we'll probably get Brighton or Snowbird/Alta passes.

For sure dawg. I'm sure we can find a place or two for you to crash as well.

Sounds good I skied snowbird, brighton, and pc last January so I'm down to do whatever. My aunt lives in Sandy and my cousin has a place down by the U so I'll be around haha

I mean I stomp around freely cause idgaf, nobody ever says anything but it's really nice not having people stomping around above me. That shits fucking annoying
