Help me out NS!!! +K if ya help :)

Go check out the Oregon regional forums, you'll find the answers to your questions as well as info on other colleges in the area

There's lots of skiing around. Willamette Pass (about an hour) Hoodoo (just over an hour), and then bachelor and mt hood areas (both around 3 hrs drive). Bachelor is easier to do from eugene if you get on the Bergs bus (http://bergsskishop.com/info/ski-bus-schedule.php). Definitely check the regional forum too. Lots of info about oregon schools and skiing in there

I go to UO bro. Its a great fucken school. The parties are insane, tons of hot so cal ladies, and all of my classes are interesting and the professors are helpful. Not to mention the campus, rec center, sports teams are all great. As for the skiing goes, willamette and hoodoo mountains are about an hour out but there's not much as far as parks go and they're pretty small. Bachelors two hours but worth the drive.

Thanks so much, i love you, hows the parks at Willemeta and Hodoo??

And i live in Indian Hill, Senior here, ski at perfects, what about yourself??

what the fuck would make you wanna live in eugene? if you are plannin on skiing a bunch rethink your choice

I go to UofO and ski alot. i love park and hittin freshies. I am apart of the UofO Ski and Snowboard club here. The club drives vans and buses up to willamette pass and a little to mt bachelor during the winter.
Willamette pass hasnt had much of a park for years, but supposedly the uof o club is suppose to work with a local board shop and willamette to create a nice park for competition this winter.. (ill let you know how that goes..Willamette pass is 1hr 35mins average away from eugene.
Hoodoo is about 2 hrs average drive. no park really at all and ther probably wont be so dont worry bout poodoo.
Mt Bachelor is about the same if not a little less of a drive than to mt hood. It is about a 3 hr drive to mt bachelor and the same to mt hood timberline and mt hood meadows.Mt Bachelor usually get stons of snow and good pow, lighter and drier than willamette passes. Mt bachelor has a large slopestyle park and a fun long 2 parks on the west side of the mountain.mtbachelor preseason ordered season pass is 250$ for 18 and under and 350$ for between 18-26ages
soo just go to mt bachelor and either get there by driving with homies, burgs bus(26$), or the u of o snowboard club. Homies is your best choice..

this man knows his shit, except the age group thing. it ends at 23 which means i am fucked next year and im gonna have to find someway to get back into that age group. but yea, bachy is the your best bet. im gonna suggest OSU cascades for you. bend is pretty dope, but more importnantly i ski in between classes. there is no competetition for that

OSU cascades is a tight option cuz you can switch between those campuses, even though corvallis is very boring. Bend is ill..if you know people ther and got peeps to ski and chill with at bach.

Your probly going to want to ski bachelor because it has legit parks and its closer but you should deff go to hood a couple times because the mtn and the people are totally different i ski at hood

Lived in Mariemont for 7 years and learned to ski at perfect north.
I never went to U of O, but I lived in Bend for a couple of years and my good friend goes there. If your looking to ski a lot, I would not really suggest U of O. Its not really close to anywhere sick. Willammette I am told is good on pow days though. Besides that, Bachelor is 3 hours away and that does not seem like a fun commute a few days a week when you have work. My buddy that goes there hardly gets to ride. The only reason he snowboards much is because he is from Bend, so he goes up all the time when he comes home during breaks and some weekends.
The school is pretty sweet though. I have heard good things about it as a school and its a pretty nice campus.
The partying is pretty sweet too. There will be multiple nights there that you will not remember.

the school is great when it comes to academics, but you really wont be able to make it up to the mtn that much b/c of how long the drive is. W-pass sucks, don't waste your money going there.

Its funny people knock Willamette cause it doesn't have a park.. did some of the most fun pow riding ever there for years. If park is what you wanna ride Bachy is probably the best in Oregon. UofO is a good school, went there for a while, and if you decide Eugene isn't the place for you. Can always stay a UofO student and take classes in Bend. If you have any questions feel free to PM.

school sounds amazing just worried about not being able to ski, is cascades big? if classes are mon-thurs, would it be worth it to hit up hood and bachie if i find homies to stay with for the weekend and just head back during the week?

meh, thing i love about cascades is i get to ski between class. right now i can ski 7 days a week. most classes a mon-thurs. and its pretty small but getting bigger. we are gonna expand soon so thats good, its the type of school were you become friends with your teachers. i suggest coming to oregon in the spring and stay in both towns for a few days to get the feel for em and the mountains. if you wanna ski, come to osucc, if you want the typical college experience go to uo

I lived in eupheen boregon for 4 years and though i didnt ski can tell you alot bout the town! hopeyou like hippies as its a huuuuge greatful dead town! more vw busses and dreadlocks than you have ever seen. great weed and way too much drugs!

haha, good bud always makes that top of the list... hippies idk ha, i wear baggy cloths and listen to loud music :P OU sounds perfect cept the distance from a decent park, nothings got something compairable close?
